Journal Prompt:  Title your project and write a mission statement.  See clearly what you ideally want to see by May 14th and why you want to see it.

"To begin with the end in mind means to start with a clear understanding of your destination. It means to know where you are going so you better understand where you are now so that the steps you take are always in the right direction." - Stephen R. Covey

Journal Prompt:  Now that you have begun with the end in mind, it's time to reverse engineer.  Map out the weeks between now and May 14th.  For each week, choose 1-3 ideals that you would like to see come to fruition in order to make it all happen!

"First comes thought; then organization of that thought, into ideas and plans; then transformation of those plans into reality. The beginning, as you will observe, is in your imagination." Napoleon Hill

Journal Prompt:  Go out into the sunlight and close your eyes, turning your heart and mind's eye to the sun. Ask any question, or just simply open yourself to new thoughts.

“I am willing to release old negative beliefs. They are only thoughts that stand in my way. My new thoughts are positive and fulfilling.” - Louise Hay

Journal Prompt:  Moondays are our 'catch-up' days, so if there are any journal prompts you need to catch up on, today is the day.  If you are completely caught up, read over your journal entries from last week and perhaps draw, paint, or make a piece of art just for the sake of art.

“The outward work can never be small if the inward one is great, and the outward work can never be great or good if the inward is small or of little worth.”-- Meister Eckhart

Journal Prompt: How do you feel in your spaces?  How would you like to feel?  Look at your environments with fresh eyes; see the real alongside your ideals.  Discover tiny inspirations in your environments.  Be open to the things in your environment in new and helpful ways. Appreciate everything. Change in your spaces anything you can and want to.  Be real with reality and make real time adjustments so your fantasy works.

“Three things differentiate living from the soul versus living from the ego only: the ability to sense and learn new ways, the tenacity to ride a rough road, and the patience to learn deep love over time.” - Clarissa Pinkola Estes

Journal Prompt:  Practice the art of listening first.  Practice it on yourself.  Sit with a pen and paper and come into a space of heart-centered listening to your own heart.  Do you hear anything?  A word, a phrase?  If you ask a question, what answer do you receive?  Write it down only after you hear it so that your listening skills become subtle and acute.  Practice this on others, especially with what is being unsaid underneath their words.

"Listen before you speak. Understand. Diagnose. Listen with your ears... and your eyes and heart. Find out what the most important behaviors are to the people you’re working with. Don’t assume you know what matters most to others. Don’t presume you have all the answers - or all the questions."  - Stephen Covey

Journal Prompt:  Is there something in your life that you are not in acceptance about?  Anything about your project that you are not in acceptance about?  Acceptance of reality is a root step.  Whatever it is you may be feeling or thinking, accept it first.  Write it out.  Being honest and real with yourself and your situations is liberating.  Your reality is the launch pad that you then can spring from.

"You want to accept God but you don’t want what God did. How can you reconcile that? You want to accept the Creator, but you don’t want to accept the Creation. Impossible!" - Yogi Bhajan 7/10/84

Journal Prompt:  Place your writing utensil in your non-dominant hand and allow your inner child to write you a short and sweet letter.  You may even ask it what it wants or needs from you.  Your inner child might also have some wonderful insight into your creative project!

"Our purity lies in our originality. Our intuition lies in our innocence." - Yogi Bhajan

Journal Prompt:  Peruse your local paper and find events in these upcoming weeks where you can go out and be in the group aura of like minded artists and visionaries. Go and allow yourself to be inspired!  Meet new people. Allow others to know you.

"But let there be spaces in your togetherness and let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love: let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls." - Khalil Gibran

Journal Prompt:  Observe the merry-go-round of thoughts in your mind, and all the myriad aspects of your personality that generate these thoughts. Write down the qualities of energy associated with the "horses on the merry-go-round" whose thoughts / feelings / outlook are most desired by you.  Choose one quality of energy that you would like to inspire you this week and then navigate your next seven days in service to expanding this quality of energy within you.  (example:  mine for this week is 'zealous commitment'.)

“Hello, sun in my face. Hello you who made the morning and spread it over the fields...Watch, now, how I start the day in happiness, in kindness.”
― Mary Oliver

Journal Prompt:  Mondays are catch up days!  If there are any journal entries that you have not had the chance to write, today is the day.  If there are steps in your creative project that you haven't gotten around to, today is the day.  If there are dream entries or journal entries that you can read, today is the day.

Illuminata by Marty Hamed

Oh Holy Matter who brings us out of darkness and into being, we are ripples of energy moving on the wave of life. Sparks jumping to be fanned into flames that ignite our existence. The light nurtures us as atoms collide, molecules swirl, and DNA twirls us into something miraculous. Through millions of millennia synapses fire as ancient embers ignite memories, and the deja vu of our eternity arises again, and again, and again.

We are your sacrament of water, air, and dust --- of worlds built and consumed by wind and oceans and time.  Our soft earthly temples hold altars to the energetic essence of our being as we was and wane in your timeless trinity of life, death, rebirth.  We are gifted with the dust of passing stars, bestowing upon us the cosmic mystery of your gifts. You bring us light and sight, and visions of all that we were, we are, and will be.  And in the coming and going, in the void and fullness, in the dark and the light, there you are --- Sacred Divine Eternal Matter.

Journal Prompt:  Mars Day!  Take some risks today... Risks that boldly express love and beauty.  Be unwavering about it.  Write down OUTRAGEOUS ideas of what is possible for you!!!

"I shall leap from the raft I misperceived as safety and risk the sea of love. For it is my own deeps I seek." Susa Silvermarie

Journal Prompt: Sit as if you were on top of Mount Everest and give all your worries, concerns, cares and griefs to God. Have an honest talk to God, as if you are in a therapy session and can simply just unload and unburden yourself. Feel free to write anything that comes forward for you after this, but refrain from writing down any of your burdens… they are now lifted.

“The head is a computer. The heart has the power of 108 suns. The Heart Center is the strongest of all centers. Whenever you pray with the head, it will take so long—you have to go through the intellect, thought, circumstance, environment, space and time. Whenever you sing or pray from the heart, it will be timeless, spaceless and absolutely effective.

Think just as you throw a stone into the water and the waves go out, similarly your thought waves are going out. Imagine you are on the top of Mount Everest. You are sitting and sending waves out to the entire globe. You are a beautiful magnetic field and you vibrate. Send the waves out.”  - Yogi Bhajan 3/29/96

Journal Prompt:  Read Yogi Bhajan's quote below and then please write about how you can relate it to your project.  Where can you infuse your Self and your project with open, honest, bright, and forthright energy? Where are you living under a camouflage?  Call yourself out and consider all the ways that you play safe / small.  Write about all the things that can support you in coming out of your shell to become a stronger warrior of Divine Consciousness.

“As we are entering the Age of Aquarius, we have to become responsible, outspoken, leading teachers of this Age. That's what we have trained for and that's what we have grown into. You cannot live under a camouflage. You have to live openly, honestly, brightly, and forthrightly. Your words should be so strong that they affect every heart; your truth should be so pure that it lifts a person's soul to the heights.”

-Yogi Bhajan, 7/28/02

Journal Prompt:  Time for non-dominant hand-writing again!  Today we have the full moon energy coming off of Libra into Scorpio... Let us focus on ways that we are to refine our creativity, our desires, our relationship with Self and others.  Let your inner child speak to you, unfiltered. Let your inner child tell you what it is ready to release this new waning cycle.  Listen.  Write it down.  Share it with us.  Then, create!

“Quick release makes it fly better.”
― Avaneesh Devkota

Journal Prompt:  Writing assignment!!!  Read the poem below and write your own "I am the..." poem!  Take in the senses around you and within you and declare it.  Your poem doesn't have to have the same amount of lines as Amergin's below, but use the same format, ending your poem with three lines of "Who can tell...?"  Please share your poem with the group or use the hashtag #corising and tag me so I can see!  There's no 'due-date' but since Mondays are our catch up days, try a go at it between now and then!

I am the wind which breathes upon the sea;
I am the wave upon the ocean;
I am the murmur of the billows;
I am a bull of seven fights;
I am an eagle upon a rock;
I am a ray of the sun;
I am the most beautiful of plants;
I am a strong wild boar;
I am a salmon in the water;
I am a lake in the plain;
I am the word of knowledge;
I am the head of the spear in battle;
I am the god that puts fire in the head;
Who spreads light in the gathering on the hills?
Who can tell the ages of the moon?
Who can tell the place where the sun rests?

- Amergin Glúingel
