Beaming and Creating the Future

(1) Drink in on the inhale through rounded mouth, exhale slowly through nose.

(2)  Inhale and hold the breath while meditating on zero.  Exhale and repeat in a comfortable rhythm.

(3)  Beam a quality or condition you most desire for your complete happiness and growth. Inhale and suspend the breath as you beam it through a conscious stream.  Exhale the breath as needed.

COMMENTS:  After clearing the mind of other distracting thoughts and attachments, it has tremendous capacity and creativity when focused and beaming.  Use that beaming faculty.  Become still and project the mind to create your future and your relationship to the world.  The best way to practice this is on an empty stomach with only liquids taken during the day.

Hands in Venus Lock, parallel to the ground with thumbs pulled back.  Eyes open and fixed on the 'V' of the thumbs.

COMMENTS:  This kriya is the most powerful in its effectiveness next to Sat Kriya.  It merges the mind-body-soul into one vibrational effect.  All the glands and the rate of breath are affected.  One achieves a state of consciousness for perfect physical vibratory projection.

MANGO LASSI - Original Yogi Bhajan Recipe

Here is a cooling and refreshing beverage which is an excellent food for both women and men. 

2 cups homemade yogurt

2 medium mangoes (very ripe)

3 Tbsp. maple syrup or honey

6 ice cubes 

1/8 tsp. rose water

Peel and slice mangoes.  Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend at high speed.  Serves 4-6.

*** Charanpal's notes:  First, you don't have to make your own yogurt... would be great and all, but who's got time for that?!? LOL!  Also, you can totally substitute dairy yogurt for any of the nut varieties out there, such as coconut, cashew, almond, etc.  Find one that is unsweetened and with plenty of probiotics as that is what makes this beverage so good for you.  Second, I think that amount of maple syrup / honey is outrageously too sweet.  I personally don't add any sweetener because when you use ripe mangoes, it's sweet enough!  Sweeten for your personal taste, and do note that both the maple syrup and the honey have nutrients and health benefits, so I'm not dissuading you from using either.  Lastly, I do not like using ice cubes in my lassie!  Here's a great trick... Peel the mango, put it in a tupperware, and freeze it!  Not only is frozen mango amazing to use for the lassie, but it's also an amazing substitute for ice cream!!!  I literally feel like I am eating sorbet when I bite into a frozen chunk of mango...
